Amjad Rabi

Amjad is a social security economist currently works as an advisor for Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund (EPF)- Asia’s 4th largest fund and the world’s 7th largest fund- as well as for Oman’s Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI). He is also a visiting expert at the University of Malaya’s Social Wellbeing Center, Malaysia. Amjad earlier served in senior positions in the United Nations’ country offices in Malaysia, Nepal, Zimbabwe, Egypt, and Argentina and Headquarter offices in New York and Geneva. He has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses at Nottingham University, Malaysia campus, Balsillie School of International Affairs, Canada, and Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Canada. His academic background includes a Doctorate in International Relations (International Development), a Master’s degree in Public Policy (Social Policy Financing), a Master’s degree in Mathematics (Actuarial Science), and a Master’s in Economics.
