Alisha Singh, Director of Business Development, Idea Studio Nepal has broad business and management expertise with a proven experience of working with startups, BPO company, and NGOs. A results-driven strategist, Alisha works primarily with the incubated businesses in Idea Studio Nepal to refine companies business models, develop strategies and execution plans, and guide them towards financial opportunities. She is currently managing 6 incubated business portfolios. Along with this, she is the manager of the Scale-Up Accelerator program and Start-Up Incubator Program, where she directly works with the incubated business entrepreneurs, and expert mentors and trainers. She recently assisted 2 of the businesses to secure a collateral-free loan of a 1.75million and 2 of the businesses to secure an investment of 2.5 million. She is also the project manager of Partnership For Prosperity, from which her team was able to facilitate the disbursement of 16.475 million collateral-free loans to women tempo drivers, trekking guides and teachers during the pandemic.
Her research interests are financial literacy and management, entrepreneurial ecosystem, enhancing customer service in a business market and developing a process-centric business model. With over 5 years in the social and business sectors, Alisha has experience in team building, strategic implementation, lead management, client relationship management and public-private partnership. Alisha holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kathmandu University, specializing in finance and is also a member of the U.S Embassy Advisory student youth council 2016/17.
