Hari Gopal Risal

Hari Gopal Risal is the Assistant Professor of Finance and Accounting and Coordinator of Research Degree Programme (Ph.D. and M.Phil.) at Kathmandu University School of Management (KU-SOM). His research interests are risk management, supervision and regulations, financial and monetary economics, banking, Entrepreneurial finance, green finance and investments. He has published papers in rated and ranked international journals, authored books in finance and holds good command over econometrics, modeling, financial reporting, policy evaluation and risk management. He is an alumnus of Kathmandu University, Tribhuvan University, and Indian Institution of Management. As the young and dynamic leader, he has been serving in the academic industry for about 14 years, also served as a corporate trainer and business consultant for many reputable institutions in the country. He is also a Toastmasters member and currently serving as the immediate past President at KUSOM Toastmasters. He has also served as the leader of the graduate and undergraduate programme of reputable business schools in the country.
