Joon Shakya is a Computer Science student from St. Xavier’s College, Tribhuvan University, who has been personally inspired by his own struggles and observations of the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals. Motivated by these experiences, Joon is working on an inclusive and impactful project aimed at improving accessibility and independence for the visually impaired.

Project Wings to Dreams - Chain For Change
Joon was inspired by the idea due to his own struggles and seeing other visually impaired people face the same issues. He plans to create an aggregator for scribes and students. The app also involved indoor navigation for the visually impaired to guide them through. He has also created QR codes that will provide audio descriptions of physical structures through voiceover.
