About

Saugat Acharya is an aspiring innovator from the School of Engineering, Science and Technology at Pokhara University. With a background in engineering and a keen understanding of rural challenges, he has focused his efforts on addressing the high cost of animal feed in remote areas. Witnessing how feed prices inflate drastically by the time they reach villages, Saugat was inspired to create a local solution. With support from the National Innovation Center, he has successfully developed a working prototype of a pellet-making machine. His dedication stems from a desire to empower local farmers with affordable alternatives and reduce dependency on external sources.
