With the idea of exposing the potential business environment of Nepal to aspiring entrepreneurs; “Idea talk” a talk program with various business experts of the country was initiated.

The talk show also aims to be the foundation for developing Nepalese case studies for the business students as it can be seen that most of the business schools are referring to international case studies and there are hardly few based on Nepalese entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Idea Talk highlights the journey, success stories, opportunities and challenges faced by entrepreneurs in Nepalese context considering their gender, age and background and the ways to overcome it. They also provide the basic guideline and tips to follow for becoming successful entrepreneur. Similarly the Business experts encourage young and aspiring entrepreneurs to stay and invest their skills in Nepal itself by showing them the need of fostering entrepreneurship for socio economic development of the Nation.

Infrastructure Idea Hunt is a campaign which aims to provide encouragement and opportunities to those who are willing to share their innovative ideas related to infrastructural projects in order to accelerate socio-economic development of the Nation.
Infrastructure Idea Hunt is an initiation taken by Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in association with Idea Studio Nepal with an aim of increasing public engagement in identifying problems and come up with possible solutions for infrastructure development.

Process
• Please upload your ‘Infrastructural Ideas’ related to Roads, Irrigation, Railways, Hydropower, Tourism, Agriculture, Information & Communication Technology (ICT) which may also include the policy reform ideas with these sectors.
• The campaign Open for any individual and companies at any stage of the venture; students and aspiring entrepreneur

• Top 10 Ideas will be nurtured through 3 days’ incubation workshop at Kathmandu University School of Management.
• Three best possible ideas will be awarded in a special session of NIS 2017

Conditions
• The Ideas should have investment potentiality (Investable Projects).
• The Ideas should incorporate the benefits associated with the project – locally or nationally.
• If possible Ideas should include the basic characteristics of the projects such as : Gestation period of the project, Estimated cost and Benefit, Implementation strategy , etc.

Opportunities:
• Prospective to present ideas in front of the members of Parliament
• Prospective to pitch best 10 ideas at Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2017 to be held on February 20th 2017 at Hotel Soaltee.
• Prospective to participate in Idea Studio Nepal; a National level incubation Program.

With more than 200 business colleges in Nepal, entrepreneurship has become the most viable career choice for students. But with only theory based curriculum and knowledge, it has proved difficult for students to ensure that they are going towards the right path of entrepreneurship.
And this is where Idea Studio Inter College Idea Hunt supported by Meeting Point, comes into the picture. Idea Studio Nepal will be organizing Intra College and Inter College business idea hunt to help prosper and motivate students into positive approaches to entrepreneurship. The target is to reach 100 colleges.

Idea Studio Intra College Idea Hunt Procedure-
- Minimum 20 students to participate with their ideas.
- They will be given 2 minutes each to pitch their idea.
- The judges will be the college principal, season 1 and 2 Ideators, and idea studio executive.
- One Ideator will be selected from each college.
- This event will be recorded by Meeting point for television.

After the Intra College competition, a selection committee will finalize on Top 10 Ideators only for the final Inter College Idea Hunt.

Idea Studio Inter College Idea Hunt Procedure-

- Once the Top 10 is finalized there will be a final event.
- They will be given 3 to 5 minutes to pitch their idea.
- The judges will be from academia, business houses and brand champions of Idea Studio.
- The Top 3 Ideators will be receiving cash prizes.
- These Top 3 will then move onto Idea Studio Season 3 as direct entry to the incubation.
