Effective waste management poses a significant challenge for the Nepal government. To address this issue, the proposed solution involves the implementation of a comprehensive waste management system. This system entails the introduction of a Waste Collection Calendar, whereby waste is collected directly from households. Additionally, citizens will be provided with two distinct bags for waste segregation—one for biodegradable waste and the other for non-biodegradable waste. Proper management protocols would be established to handle each type of waste accordingly. Furthermore, the initiative included the establishment of designated dumping sites to ensure proper disposal of collected waste.
