There is a vision to develop a method for land valuation that is scientific and realistic by using objective criteria and indicators through Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. This system will calculate plot-wise land value by analyzing indicators and their weights using GIS software. It is expected that this approach will make processes such as land acquisition, tax collection from land transactions, property verification control, land market regulation, land-related service delivery, land development, and rehabilitation more efficient, simple, and transparent—ultimately contributing to overall economic growth and good governance.
