Hirendra’s project centers on the use of the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) for organic waste management and sustainable protein production. The initiative utilizes BSF larvae to convert organic waste into nutrient-rich compost and high-protein feed for livestock and aquaculture. This model not only reduces organic waste but also offers an affordable and sustainable alternative to conventional animal feed. The venture aligns with global efforts to promote circular agriculture and presents a scalable solution for both environmental sustainability and food security in Nepal.
