Business

De-Vote
A decentralized e-voting system that seeks to include the votes of people living abroad. 64 percent of absent voters are working abroad. There has been a directive by the supreme court to include nepalese living abroad during the elections but work hasn’t been carried out for it as of yet. Inspired by his loved ones missing the election due to not being in the country during the elections as well as voting issues he faced while in Chitwan. They hope to save election costs as well as boost Nepali prestige abroad. They seek to align their values with that of ISN through innovation and environmental impact. They have won various awards and hackathons and their prototype is also ready. Plan to use AI for facial recognition and document verification. They also include blockchain technology to verify users.
