Nigma Sherpa’s innovative idea focuses on cultivating Chiraito (a medicinal herb) and mushrooms on a commercial scale. He plans to carry out production in batches, each covering up to 5 ropani of land. The market value of these products is promising, ranging from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 14,000 per kilogram. With approximately 60% of the investment going into production costs, the model is expected to yield around 40% profit. His target markets include local areas like Bhojpur as well as international markets in China and India, where the demand for herbal and organic products is high. Through this model, Nigma aims not only to generate income but also to create employment and promote sustainable agriculture in rural Nepal.
