Ms. Anshu Pradhan

Sister's Enterprises

Sisters Enterprise harnesses the timeless versatility of cane and bamboo to create innovative, eco-friendly products that blend seamlessly into the fashion and furniture industries. With over 45 years of familial business expertise, they recognized a gap in the market for innovation. As a fashion design student, Anshu, alongside her sister, have reimagined these natural materials into stylish accessories and home furnishings, tapping into the global "going green" trend. Their approach not only enhances product appeal but also generates employment opportunities, acknowledges skilled craftsmanship, and positions us competitively in both local and international markets.

Nepal’s Own Gateway (NOG)

The business idea proposed for College Hunt 2019 is how Nepal can have its own payment gateway system, named Nepal‘s Own Gateway (NOG) which includes issuing of debit/credit cards. When implemented at national level, it can help minimize the transaction cost and contribute to the national economy (GDP). Furthermore, it can be extended internationally with collaboration with other nation’s gateway, for example, it can be linked with Rupay to internationalize with India. The implementation includes building of infrastructure, manpower and connection with banks of Nepal. Alternatively, it can be collaborated to have the connections directly. After all, why depend on when you can develop.
